The Torre Vella ( the Old Tower) Ordered built in 1530 by the Archbishop of Tarragona, Pere de Cardona, to guard the coast from pirate raids. Today it houses a cultural museum dedicated mainly to art exhibitions. It is also the home of the Contemporary Enamel Art Museum. The sculpture in the garden " The Dance of the Graces " is by the artist Artur Aldomą Puig.

This office is located at the end of the Promenade on the way to The Old Town, call in there for a Map of the area and explore these and many more places of interest.

Salou has a wonderful promenade which extends all the way from the "Illuminated Fountain" to the "port of Salou" Loads of events such as fireworks, live music, dancing and keep -fit take place during the summer months.

Salou's main beach is called the "Platja de Llevant" It has a gentle incline and is always awarded the "European Blue Flag" for it's excellent facilities and is always cleaned every evening. From 1857 to 1975 the people of nearby Reus would travel on a train called the "Carrilet" to reach the beach

Chalet Bonet
Also known as Chalet Voramar, was built in 1918 by Cirķac Bonet. It is a beautiful example of Art Nouveau. The rooms are decorated with murals depicting King Jaime. It can be found at the end of the promenade

This statue is dedicated to fishermen of Salou. Most of Salou's fleet has vanished due to tourism. The nearby town of Cambrils still maintains a large fleet who supply fresh produce to the hundreds of seafood restaurants in the area which has made Cambrils and Salou a seafood lovers Paradise
