| On Thursday the 18th of June 2009 The British Ambassador HMA Denise Holt, launched the new Honorary Consul for Tarragona Manel Vallvé. He will be responsible for helping ex-pats and tourists with problems that occur while they are holidaying or living in the Tarragona area. Also attending, were both the Mayor of Salou and Tarragona, heads of the local Police and Navy, local politicians, members of the tour companies and representing Salou businesses, Elaine McParland (Freesia Cancer Charity) Victor Coughlan
