The Salou Scene Magazine is publishing a special edition
for 2011.
Instead of a monthly edition, we are printing one edition
for the coming season.
The advantage of this, is that we can now print a much
higher volume while still keeping our prices at the same rates
as 2010.
In 2011 we will be printing 80,000 copies of the magazine!
We are also working in collaboration with two other media
businesses in Salou to ensure that the Magazine gets into the
hands of as many tourists of all nationalities as possible.
The Salou Scene Magazine is collaborating with a new
monthly newspaper called Infoshopping which will be
published from May 2011, they will be distributed together
and will be available at Reus Airport, the AVE train station, the
receptions of hotels in Salou and the surrounding areas and the tourist offices.
The Salou Scene magazine will also be distributed by the participating bars, restaurants and businesses that advertise in both publications. Infoshopping will be printing 10,000 copies a month.
This joint venture is backed by the Confederacion de Comercio de Cataluñya (Cataluñya Commercial Confederation),
the Diputacion de Tarragona, the Generalitad de Cataluñya and is part of the Plan Estrategico del Comercio para el Turismo de la Costa Daurada (Strategic plan for Business and Tourism in the Costa Daurada) formed by the Parque Cient’fico y Tecnologico de Turismo and with the support of the Escuela de Comercio de Costa (Business School of the Costa Daurada).
The Salou Scene Magazine is also in collaboration with Salou Uncovered, the number one website for tourists coming to Salou and the surrounding areas. Advertisers in the magazine will have the option to participate in the Salou Gold Card discount scheme, offering huge discounts to tourists either in Salou or online before they even arrive.
The Salou Scene Magazine will also be available as a download on www.salou.co.uk and www.salouscene.com so tourists can plan their holiday before they even arrive!
Advertising rates for The Salou Scene Magazine and the Infoshopping newspaper start at an incredible 90cents a day for the 2011 season which is the cheapest and most effective way of advertising available in the area.
The Magazine and newspaper will be printed in five languages and will include maps and lots of handy tourist information.
